This poster explores the intertwining of eastern and western culture as dipicted in blue and white pottery, which was a adapated by various countries and transformed through the use of patterns and symbolisim in their respective cultures. The phrase “Imitation is the greatest form of flattery” plays a large part in the overall composition, as it is shown in four languges, to help show the how some concepts became ingrained even if they were sometimes mistranslated.
