Branding/identity, SX, Print, DigitalThe Rocky Horror Picture Show Convention is a national convention held yearly that celebrates the original movie with a week long gathering that features talks, nighttime parties and raves, viewing groups, and the much anticipated play rendition for the grand finale. The creation of the convention identity and its supporting elements was focused on highlighting the main characters of the movie as well as the themes and aesthetics through the use of typography, color, and graphics for the display of long text and various elements to reflect a cohesive identity.
A semester long project completed in collaboration with the entire Graphic Design 2019 senior class that looked to create a cohesive space and identity for the spring final semester show. The identity evolved from wanting to show a sense of communication and collaboration between all the designers’ design practices, highlighting the idea that good design requires the inclusion of all voices. It was articulated through an inclusive color palette inspired by text messaging, communicative signage, and a variable typeface that could be customized to each individual voice.
